About Me
I am a mom of two energetic children and our family dog, Teddy. I am passionate about creating a safer world for our children and prioritizing the mental health of parents. I believe firmly that the best gift you can give your children is a happy and healthy parent.
I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), have professional memberships with the American Counseling Association (ACA), and Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association (MMHCA).
I am deeply passionate about mental health and providing support during the twists and turns of life. I have experience working with individuals, families, and adolescents in a multitude of settings; from residential treatment facilities, community mental health agencies, and private practice. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, stress, perinatal mental health, life transitions and changes, and toxic perfectionism.
I am a LGBTQ+ ally and strive to empower a sense of belonging and understanding. In every session, you can expect to receive empathy, encouragement, and support.
It is with compassion, care, and understanding that I will work alongside you on your journey towards healing and self empowerment.
